Solar energy is one of the many resources that helps us to gain energy as supplements of the extinguishing fossil fuels. Fuel can be classified (in accordance to the question) into two types:
I) MAN MADE FUELS: includes using and extracting energy from radioactive elements.
2) NATURAL FORM OF FUEL : among the many natural fuels available, fossil fuels hold a strong position. other examples includes, wind energy , hydropower, and of course SOLAR ENERGY .
