Solids are generally rigid.what do you say about a rubber band which changes its shape when stretched?is it solid? Give reason

rigidity means it is the resistance offered by a solid to any external force trying to change its shape.......
Rubber band is solid but it is less rigid.....
and it change its shape bcz pressure is applied on the band which makes it to change the shape and it gains it's original shape when released.
