solution for 2x+3y=8 , 4x +5y+14=0 by elimination , cross multiplication,substitution

Solution.,
2x+3y=8
x=8-3y/2......(1)...
4x+5y+14=0
x=-14-5y/4........(2).....

From EQN....1 ...AND ....2...,WE GOT,
8-3y/2=-14-5y/4
8-3y=-14-5y/2
16-6y=-14-5y
-6y+5y=-14-16
-y=-30
y=30

Substitute the value of y in EQN..1...
x=8-3y/2
x=8-3×30/2
x=8-90/2
x=4-45
x=-41

{ x = -41 AND y = 30 }. Answer.........
