(104)²

= (100+4)²

Identity to be used :

(a+b)² = a² + b² + 2ab
(100+4)² = 100² + 4² + 2(100)(4)
= 10000+16+800
= 10816

The required Answer is 10816 .

Thanks !

⚫We have to solve (104)² by applying the suitable identity

➡️If we write (104)² as (100 + 4)², then the answer will not be changed

➡️Here, it's clear that the identity

➡️(a + b)² = a² + 2ab +b² will be applied

➡️By putting values,

(100 + 4)²
100² + 2 × 100 × 4 + 4²
10000 + 2 × 400 + 16
10000 + 800 + 16
10800 + 16
10816

➡️If,
(100 + 4)² = 10816, and
(104)² = (100 + 4)²

✔️✔️So the value of (104)² will be 10816.
