√1+sin(X/8)
1 can be written as sin^2(X/16)+cos^2(X/16)
and sin (X/8)= 2 sin(X/16) cos(X/16)
thus
√1+sin(X/8)
= √sin^2(X/16)+cos^2(X/16) +2 sin(X/16) cos(X/16)
= √(sin (X/16)+cos(X/16))^2
= sin (X/16) + cos (X /16)
