Answer:

let equation 1 be x-y+1=0

and equation 2 be 3x+2y-12=0

multiplying eq.1 with 3 we get

3x-3y+3=0

and solving 1 and 2 we get,

3x-3y+3=0

3x+2y-12=0

-5y=-15

y=3

substituting in eq 2 we get

x=2
