we get, 3x – 5y = 4 …[1]
Now let’s, multiply 18 to the second equation to remove fraction
we get, 9x – 2y = 7 …[2]
Now, let’s find eq[2] – eq[1] × 3
⇒ 9x – 2y – 3(3x – 5y) = 7 – 4×3
⇒ y = -5/13
Now if we put this result in eq[1]
3X - 5 ( -5 / 13) = 4
⇒ 39x = 27
⇒
x = 9/13
