0.5(4x) = 2x
2x + 0.5
0.3 ( 2x) = 0.6x
0.6x + 0.3 +1
2x + 0.5 = 0.6x + 0.3 +1
1.4x = 1.3 -0.5
1.4 x = 0.8
x = 0.8/1.4
x =0.5714

0.5(4x+1)=0.3(2x+1)+1
or,2x+0.5=0.6x+0.3+1
or,2x-0.6x=1.3-0.5
or,1.4x=0.8
or,x=0.8/1.4
=8/14
=4/7
Ans:x is 4/7
