Given f(x) = (sex x+tan x)/(sec x - tan x)

Multiple by (sec x+ tan x) or Nr and Dr.

f(x) = \frac{ {( sex \: x + tan \: x) }^{2} }{ {sec}^{2} x - {tan}^{2}x } = {sec}^{2} x + {tan}^{2}

1 + 2 {tan}^{2} x + 2sex \: \: x \: tan \: x <br /><br /><br />\\ so \: differentiate \: now \: wrt \: x. \: (apply \: \: \\ chain \: rule \: ) \\

f'(x) = (1)'+2tanx*(tan x)'+ 2* sec x* (tan x)'+
2(sex x)' * +2(sec x)' * tan x

=2 tan x * sec2x + 2 sec x* (sec2x) + 2(sec x × tan x )* tan x

= 2* sec2 × [ tan x +2 sec x 7-2 sec *]
