2/5 x^2 -x-3/5=0
2x^2-5x-3 divide by 5 =0
2x^2 -5x -3 =0 *5
2x^2 -5x -3 =0
2x^2-2x-3x-3=0
-2x(x+1)-3(x+1)=0
(x+1)(-2x-3)=0
but i m not confirmed

Hi ,

2/5 x² - x - 3/5 = 0

multiply each term with 5, we get

2x² - 5x - 3 = 0

splitting the middle term

2x² - 6x + x - 3 = 0

2x ( x - 3 ) + 1 ( x - 3 ) = 0

( x - 3 ) ( 2x + 1 ) = 0

Therefore ,

x - 3 = 0 or 2 x + 1 = 0

x = 3 or x = ( -1/2 )

I hope this helps you.
