we get, a= 2, b = -5 and c = 3

by formula ( b^2 - 4ac ) = ▲

▲= (-5)^2 - 4 (2)(3)

▲ = 25 - 8 (3)

▲ = 25 - 24

▲ =1

now, x = [- b +_√( b^2- 4ac)] / 2a

= [-(-5) +_ √(1)] / 2× 2

= (5 +_ 1 ) / 4

= (5+1)/ 4 ; (5-1) / 4

= 6 / 4 ; 4 / 4

= 3 / 2 ; 1

Ans; x = 3 / 2 or x = 1
