area of triangle = 600cm²
let the height of the triangle be x cm
area of triangle = ½ × base × height
600 = ½ × x × (10 + x)
1200 = 10x + x²
x² + 10x - 1200 = 0
x² + 40x - 30x - 1200 = 0
x(x+40) - 30(x+40) = 0
(x-30)(x+40) = 0
x = 30 or -40
but length can't be -ve
therefore height of the triangle is 30cm
therefore base is 40cm
to find hypotenuse length:
using Pythagoras theorem,
(hypotenuse)² = (base)² + (height)²
= 30² + 40²
= 900 + 1600
= 2500
hypotenuse = √2500 = 50cm

therefore the sides of the triangle are 30cm, 40cm, and 50cm.
