seed dispersal is a process by which seed move away from the parent plant and reach New habited to grow into new plants. seed dispersal is important for the plant Kingdom .it prevents overcrowding of plants in one place, and this in turn help the plant to get more sunlight ,more food and air for better growth .

seeds are dispersed in various ways -- by wind ,water ,self explosion of fruits, animal or humans .some plants have pots with burst open when they are dry .the seeds fall out and scatter on the ground away from the mother plant .Peas, beans and lady finger are example of such plant .

some seeds like that of the sycamore tree have wind - like structures and that help them to fly in the air .hence, dispersed by wind . cotton seed have silky hair that help them to get blow with the wind .

coconut and Lotus seeds are dispersed through water .coconut is light in weight. it floats on the water body and reaches another place where it grows into new plant .

animal also help to disperse seeds .some animal pick fruits from trees like plum and peace and carry them to safe place to eat them .sometimes the animal split out the seed or at times the seeds are eaten and defected .these seeds get buried in the soil and many of them grow into new plant . some fruits and seed have sticky hair , bristles or a thorny coat like that of the pricly chafflower. they get stuck to the fur of animal .the seeds are carried on the body of the animal .Till they are brushed off or fall off on their own .

we humans eat fruit and throw the seed in various places like flower beds ,park or roadside. thus, seeds rich different places .sometimes sticky Haired , bristled or hooked seeds get stuck on the clothes of humans and Rich a new place .
