2 x minus 3 is equal to 5 by euclid's exams adding 3 both side show that 2x - 3 + 3 is equal to 5 + 3 that means 2 x is equal to 8 then divide into both side that is 2 x / 2 is equal to 8 / 2 the answer comes x is equal to 4.
