let's take 2x + 3x = 11

5x= 11

x = 11 /5

substituting x in equation 2

2 ×{11/5} - 4y = - 24

22 /5 - 4y = - 24

22 - 20y / 5 = -24

-2 0 y = -120 -22

-20 y = - 142

y = -142/-20

y = 7.1

substituting

7.1 = m ( 11/5 ) +3

7.1 -3 = 11m /5

4.1 = 11m /5

4.1 × 5 = 11m

20.5 = 11m

m = 11 / 20.5

m = 0. 5
