Answer:

2x - 3y = 1

4x - 3y +1 = 0

2x - 3y = 1. ( 1st equation)

4x - 3y = -1. ( 2nd equation )

2 ( 2x - 3y = 1)

4x - 3y = -1

4x - 6y = 2. ( 3rd equation)

4x - 3y = -1. ( 4th equation)

subtracting 4th equation from 3rd equation

change the sign of 4th equation

4x - 6y = 2

-4x + 3y = 1

-3y = 3

y = 3 / -3

y = -1

put the value of y in 2nd equation

4x - 3y = -1

4x - 3 ( -1) = -1

4x - ( -3) = -1

4x + 3 = -1

4x = -1 - 3

4x = -4

X = -4 / 4

X = -1

Y = -1

X = -1
