Solve these two equations 2x + 3y = 11 and 2x - 4y = -24 to get the value of x and y and then put those values on this equation -: y = mx + 3 to find m

2x + 3y = 11

2x - 4y = -24

(-)   (+)    (+)

-------------------------------------

0   + 7y  = 35

7y = 35

y = 5

Put this value on any above equation to find 'x'

2x + 3y = 11

2x = 11 - 3y

2x = 11 - 3(5)

2x = 11 - 15

2x = -4

x = -2

Now, we have to find 'm'

y = mx +3

5 = m(-2) + 3

5 - 3 = -2m

2 = -2m

m = -1
