Answer:

2x+y=5.........(i)

x+3y=5..........(ii)

x−2y=0...........(iii)

From (iii) we get, x=2y

Substituting this value in (ii) we get-

2y+3y=5⇒5y=5⇒y=1

Hence, x=2y=2×1=2

Thus, the solution of (ii) and (iii) is x=2,y=1

Putting this value in LHS of equation (i) we get-

LHS=2(2)+1=4+1=5=RHS

Thus, x=2,y=1 also satisfies equation (i). Hence, all three equations have a unique solution which is x=2,y=1, i.e- the given system of equations has only one solution.
