Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Explanation:

Given ,

2x +3y = 9

4x +6y = 18

Take common on both  side of equation 4x +6y =18

then we get, 2x +3y =9 .

Step 1:

2x +3y = 9 ...............(i)

4x +6y = 18 .............(ii)

taking common on both side of equation (ii)

2(2x+3y) = 18

⇒2x + 3y = 9

Here we can see that equation (i)

overlaps on equation (ii)

Step 2:

let x = 0 put in any one the given  equations

then, 2 × 0 +3y = 9

3y = 9

y = 3

Step 3 :

Let y = 0

then, 2x + 3×0 = 9

2x = 9

⇒x = 4.9

Final answer:

Hence , x = 0 when y = 3

and       x = 4.9 when y = 0.

This is the graphically representation of the given equation .
