2y - 1/3y = 2 - 11/4
4(6y - 1y) = 3(8 - 11)
20y = -9
y = -9/20...
4(6y - 1y) = 3(8 - 11)

shouldn't we take the lcm first?
The denominator on LHS that is 3 is multiplied on RHS side... and same for RHS... understood?
but if we take the LCM of 2y and 1/3y then we should get 6y^2 + y right?
Nope...
It will come as 5y/3....
