 \frac{3x  -  7}{4}  = 5 x+ 12

 \frac{3x}{4}  = 5x + 12 + 7

3x = 5x + 19 \times 4

3x - 5x = 76

 - 2x = 76

x =  \frac{76}{2}

x = 36 \:  answer
