Answer:

3−(x−5)=y+2

⇒3−x+5=y+2

⇒x+y=6⟶(i)

And ,

2(x+y)=4−3y

⇒2x+2y=4−3y

⇒2x+5y=4⟶(ii)

Multiplying (i) by 2

2x+2y=12⟶(iii)

On substraction (ii) and (iii) :

3y=−8

⇒y=−
