Let the required no. of yrs b x
Then x yrs ago,
Hitesh =(40-x) yrs
Ronnie =(60-x) yrs
Acc. To ques,
40-x/60-x=3/5
=>3(60-x)=5(40-x)
=>180-3x=200-5x
=>-3x+5x=200-180
=>2x=20
=>x=10
Therefore, the required answer is 10 yrs....
