3p + 5 / 4p - 3 = 4/9

By cross multiplication

9(3p +5) = 4(4p-3)

27p +45 = 16p-12

27p-16p = -12-45

11p = -57

p = -57/11

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{3p  + 5}{4p - 3}  =  \frac{4}{3}

cross \: multiplying \: \: , we \: get

9(3p+5) = 4(4p-3)

= 27p +45 = 16p - 12

now ,  \: rearranging , \: we  \: get:

= 27p-16p = -12-45

= -25p = -57

 = p \:  =  \frac{57}{25}
