solve 3x+4y=10 and 2x-y=2​

Answer:

Given,

3x + 4y = 10 -------------------------(1)

And 2x - y =2

=> 2x - 2 = y

=> y = 2x - 2--------------------- (2)

Substituting eqn 1 on 2

3x + 4(2x - 2) = 10

3x + 8x - 8 = 10

11x = 10 + 8

X = 18/11

Now put value of x on eqn 2..

Y = 2×18/11 - 2

Y = 14 / 11
