➡3x-5=5x-11

Let's add 5 to both sides...

5+3x-5=5x-11+5

3x=5x-6

Let's subtract 5x from both sides...

-5x+3x=5x-6-5x

-2x=-6

Let's divide both sides by -2...

(-2x)/(-2)=-6/-2

x=3✔

⭐Let's check our work...

3x-5=5x-11

[(3)(3)]-5=[(5)(3)]-11

9-5=15-11
