Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-y= 5

=> -y = 5-3x

=> y = 3x-5 ---- 1)

4x-3y= -1

=> -3y = -1-4x

=> 3y= 4x+1-----2)

3x-5= 4x+1

=>3x-4x = 1+5

=> -x = 6

=> x= -6

Substituting x=-6 in 1)

y = 3x-5

=> y= -18-5

=> y= -23

Substituting y= -23 in y= px-3

=> -23 = -6p-3 ( as x = -6)

=> -20 = -6p

=> 6p = 20

=> p = 20/6

=> p = 10/3 or 3.33

Thus p= 10/3 or 3.33.

You can verify it it too by substituting the above values.
