Answer:

 ({5 -  \sqrt{3}) = 5   }^{2}   -  2 \times 5 \times  \sqrt{3}  +  { \sqrt{3} }^{2}

 = 25  - 10 \sqrt{3 }  + 3

 = 28 - 10 \sqrt{3}
