let us multiply 5x+2y=13 with 3.

Then it becomes 15x + 6y=39.  we can call this equation as equation no. 1

Now, let us multiply 4x - 3y = 15 with 2.

Then it becomes 8x -6y=30. we call this equation as equation no.2

on adding both the equations we get,

15x + 8x +6y -6y = 39 + 30

23x = 69

thus we get the value of x as 3.

substituting x=3 in 5x +2y= 13 ,

we get the value of y as,

2y = -2

thus the value of y = -1

Therefore,

x=3  &  y= (-1)
