 \frac{7x - 6}{x - 4} -  \frac{3}{2} = 2 \\  =  >   \frac{2(7x - 6) - 2(3)}{2(x - 4)}  = 2 \\  =  >  \frac{14x - 12 - 6}{2x - 8} = 2 \\  =  > 14x - 12 - 6 = 2(2x - 8) \\  =  > 14x - 18 = 4x - 16 \\  =  > 14x - 4x = ( - 16) + 18 \\  =  > 10x = ( - 2)  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 2}{10}  \\ x =  >  \frac{ - 1}{5}

Hence, the value of x is -1/5.
