SOLUTION:-

Given:

⚫7x +6y= 3800...........(1)

⚫3x +5y= 1750...........(2)

Substitution Method:

From equation (1), we get;

 =  > 7x = 3800 - 6y \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{3800 - 6y}{7} ................(3)

Putting the value of x in equation (2), we get;

 =  > 3( \frac{3800 - 6y}{7} ) + 5y = 1750 \\  \\  =  > 11400 - 18y + 35y = 12250 \\  \\  =  > 11400  + 17y = 12250 \\  \\  =  > 17y = 12250 - 11400 \\  \\  =  > 17y = 850 \\  \\  =  > y =  \frac{850}{17}  \\  \\  =  > y = 50

And,

Putting the value of y in equation (3), we get;

 =  > x =  \frac{3800 -6(50) }{7}  \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{3800 - 300}{7}  \\  \\  =  >  x =  \frac{3500}{7}  \\  \\  =  > x = 500

Thus,

The value of x = 500.

The value of y= 50

Hope it helps ☺️
