 \sin(90 - a)  =  \sin(42)

on comparision

90 - A = 42

A =48

sin(90 - 3a) \times  \cosec(42)  = 1 \\  \sin(90 - 3a)  =  \frac{1}{cosec(42)}  \\ sin \alpha  =  \frac{1}{cosec \alpha }  \\ so \:  \sin(90 - 3a)  = sin(42) \\ 90 - 3a = 42 \\ 3a = 90 - 42 \\ 3a = 48 \\ a = 12
