Answer:

8x+2y=62-------(1)

divide equation (1) with 2,

4x+y=31-------(2)

3x-y=12------(3)

EQ (2)×3 - (3)×4,

=> 12+3y=93

(-) 12-4y=48.

___________

- y = 45

=>. y= - 45

substitute "y" value in equation 2.

=> 4x+y=31

=> 4x+(-45) =31

=> 4x-45= 31

=> 4x =31+45

=> 4x= 76

=> x=76

4

=> x =19

Value of x=19 and value of y= -45.
