⇒9-7x-5=-3x

⇒(9-5)-7x=-3x

⇒4-7x=-3x

⇒4=-3x+7x

⇒4=4x

⇒x=4/4

substitute x=1

9-7(1)=5-3(1)

9-7=5-3
