Solve 9x² - 15x +6 = 0 by completing square method.

Here is your answer!

9x² - 15x = - 6

Divide throughout by 9,

=) x² - 15x/9 = - 6/9

=) x² - 5x/3 = - 2/3

Add both sides by (5/6)²,

=) x² - 5x/3 + (5/6)² = (5/6)² - 2/3

=) (x - 5/6)² = 25/36 - 2/3

=) (x - 5/6)² = 1/36

=) (x - 5/6) = +-1/6

=) x = 5/6 + 1/6 or 5/6-1/6

= 6/6 or 4/6

= 1 or 2/3.
