Solution :

We have provided with the data that 12 men and 18 women can do a piece of work in 14 days then we need to find how much time 8 men and 16 women take to finish the work

*According to the Question ,*

12 men is equal to 18 women in work

Implies , One men can do 12/18 women work  in one day

One men Work = 1.5  of women work --> (1)

*Total Amount of Work to be done by Women*

⇒ 18 * 14

⇒ 252

From Equation (1)

⇒ 12 women + 16 women will take time

⇒ 28 women will take time

Finding the time

Time = (Work done\Number of Women)

Substituting the Value in the formula ,

⇒ (252/28)

⇒ 9 days
