solve by cross multiplication method : 2x + 3y = 7 ; 3x + 4y = 10​

Answer:

x= 2

x= 2y=1

2x + 3y = 7  -  -  -  -  - (1)\\ 3x + 4y = 10 -  -  -  -  - (2)

multiply first equation with 3 and second equation with two

6x + 9y = 21 -  -  -  - (3) \\ 6x + 8y = 20 -  -  -  - (4)

y =1

substitute the value of Y in the first equation

2x + 3 \times 1 = 7 \\ 2x + 3 = 7 \\ 2x = 7 - 3 = 4 \\ x =  \frac{4}{2}  = 2
