solve by Elimination Method :- 2x+5y=3 , 5x -3y=4​

To eliminate you have to make the constant part of any one variable the same.

(i) * 5,

10x + 25y = 15 -----(iii)

(ii) * 2,

10x - 6y = 8 -----(iv)

(iii) - (iv),

31y = 7

y = 7 / 31

Substituting value of y in (i),

2x + 5 * 7 / 31 = 3

2x + 35 / 31 = 3

2x =  3 - 35 / 31

2x = 58 / 31

x = 58 / 62

  = 29 / 31
