eliminating s by

multiply equ. (ii) by 3

3(s/3 + t/2= 6)

s+3t/2= 18-------(iii)

subtract equ(i) from (iii)

s+3t/2= 18

-s-t= 3

we get

(3t+2t)/2= 15

3t+2t= 30

5t= 30

t = 30/5

t= 6

s-t = 3

s-6= 3

s= 3+6

s= 9
