Hello friend

___________________________

=). In the example

x + y = 14 .............( i )

x - y = 2 .................( ii )

Add the equation ( i) and ( ii) we get,

x + y = 14
x - y = 2
---------------
2x. = 16

2x = 16

x = 16/2

x = 8

x = 8 taking equation (i ) we get,

x + y = 14

8 + y = 14

y = 14 - 8

y = 6

Therefore, x = 8 and y = 6 are the solution of the equation.

Thanks.
