Solve by formula: (-b±√(b²-4ac))/2a

question : x² - (1 + √3)x + √3 = 0

a {x}^{2}  + bx + c = 0 \\ x =  \frac{ - b +  | \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } | }{2a}  \\ here \\ a = 1 \\ b =  - ( \sqrt{3} + 1) \\  c =  \sqrt{3}  \\ x =  \frac{( \sqrt{3}  + 1) +  | \sqrt{ {( \sqrt{3} + 1) }^{2} - 4 \sqrt{3}  } | }{2}  \\ x =  \frac{( \sqrt{3}  + 1 +  | \sqrt{3}  - 1| }{2}  \\ x =  \sqrt{3}  \\ x = 1
