Heya ..
4x-2y=9------(i)
3x+4y = 4-----(ii)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
USING SUBSTITUTION METHOD:
From equation (i)
4x-2y=9
x = 9+2y/4-------(iii)
Putting x= 9+2y/4 in equation (ii)
3x+4y = 4
3(9+2y/4)+4y=4
27 +6y +16y = 16
22= 16-27
22= -11.
y = -11/22
y= -1/2
Putting the value of y in equation (iii)
x = 9+2y /4
x = 9+2(-1/2)4
x = 8/4
x = 2
So ,x = 2& y = -1/2
