Step-by-step explanation:

Given, 2x-3/4y=3______(1)

and -2y-7=-5x__________(2)

Let, from eqn (2),

=>-2y-7=-5x

=>x=(-2y-7)/(-5)

=>x=(2y+7)/5________(3)

now,

substituting the value of x in eqn (1)

=>2{(2y+7)/(5)}/4y=3

=>(4y+14)/5=12y

=>(4y+14)=60y

=>y=1/4

now,

substituting the value of y in eqn (3),

=>x={2(1/4)+7}/5

=>x=15/2/5

=>x=3/2
