Answered by kokan6515
3
cos x + sin x = 2
squaring both sides
(cos x + sin x) ² = (2)²
cos²x + sin²x+ 2sinx cosx = 4
we Know cos²x + sin²x = 1
and sin 2x= 2sinx cosx
put in above
we get
1 + Sin 2x = 4
Sin 2x =3
we know -1≤ Sin ø≤1
it can't have value greater than 1
so Sin 2x can't be equal to 3

x having ø values means no such solution exist.
