(1) Given Equation is 81 + a = 100

                                  a = 100 - 81

                                  a = 19.

Therefore the value of a = 19.

(2)Given Equation is 15 - p = 12

                                     -p = 12 - 15

                                    -p = -3

                                      p = 3.

Therefore the value of p = 3.

(3)Given Equation is 21 = 28 - 7x

                                   21 - 28= - 7x

                                     - 7x = -7x

                                        x = 1.

Therefore the value of x = 1.

(4) Given Equation is 9 = 4z - 11

                                    4z - 11 = 9

                                    4z = 11 + 9

                                    4z = 20

                                     z = 20/4

                                     z = 5.

Therefore the value of z = 5.

(5) Given Equation is k + 2/5 = 7

                                     k = 7 - 2/5

                                     k = 35 - 2/5

                                     k = 33/5.

Therefore the value of  = 33/5.

Hope this helps!

(1) 81 + a = 100
a = 100 - 81
= 19
2) 15 - p = 12
-p = 12 - 15
-p = -3
p = 3
(3) 21 = 28 - 7x
28 - 7x = 21
-7x = 21 - 28
-7x = -7
x = -7/-7 = 1
(4) 9 = 4z - 11
4z - 11 = 9
4z = 9 + 11 = 20
4z = 20
z = 20/4 = 5
(5) k + 2/5 = 7
k = 7 - 2/5 = 6.6
k = 6.6
