solve each of the following equations and check your answer in each case : 0.6x-1.9=0.2x+0.5

0.6x-0.2x=1.9+0.5

0.4x=2.4

x=2.4/0.4

x=6

0.6x-1.9=0.2x+0.5

=> 0.6x - 0.2x = 0.5 + 1.9

=> 0.4x = 2.4

=> x = 2.4 ÷ 0.4

=>. x = 6
