\dfrac{y}{2}-\dfrac{6}{2}=\dfrac{3}{5}-\dfrac{2y}{5}

=> \dfrac{y-6}{2}=\dfrac{3-2y}{5}

By cross multiplying,

=> 5(y-6)=2(3-2y)

=> 5y-30=6-4y

=> 5y+4y=6+30

=> 9y=36

=> y=\dfrac{36}{9}

=> y=4
