1. 2X-Y=-1
Take LCM,
4X-2Y/2 = -1
Carry 2 to right side and multiple with -1
4X-2Y = -1x2
4X-2Y = -2
2(X-Y)= -2
X-Y = -2/2
X-Y = -1
X= -1+Y
Y= -1-X
2. 2X+3Y =11
Take LCM,
6X+9Y/3 = 11
6X+9Y = 11x3
6X+9Y = 33
3(2X+3Y) =33
2X+3Y= 11
2X= 11-3y
X= 11-3y/2
3Y= 11-2X
Y= 11-2X/3
