According to my calculations the value of X is 8.
1/(X+1)+2/(X+2) = 4/(X+4), where X does not = -4 and 1 does not =-1
1/(x+1)+2/(x+2)-4/(x+4)=0
x+4+2(x+4)-4(x+1)/(x+1)(x+4)=0
x+4+2x+8-4x-4/(x+1)(x+4)=0
-x+8/(x+1)(x+4)=0
-x+8=0
-x = -8
X = 8
hope it help to you
