AHOLA! HERE'S YOUR ANSWER:
#A current carrying conductor with circular loops of insulated copper wire wrapped closely in shape of a cylinder is a solenoid.
# The magnetic field produced by a current carrying solenoid is similiar to the magnetic field produced by a bar magnet.
# One end of the current carrying solenoid acts like a magnetic north pole while the other acts like a south pole.
# We can determine the north and south poles of a current carrying solenoid with the help of a BAR MAGNET.
This can be done as follows :
The north pole of a bar magnet is brought near to the both ends of a current carrying solenoid. The end of the solenoid which repels the north pole of bar magnet will ne its north pole and the end of the soleboid which will attract the north pole of the bar magnet will be its south pole.
Hope this helps ya buddy!

SOLENOID
A LONG CYLINDRICAL COIL OF INSULATED COPPER WIRE OF LARGER NUMBER OF CIRCULAR TURNS IS CALLED A SOLENOID. A CURRENT CARRYING SOLENOID BEHAVES LIKE A BAR MAGNET. POLARITY OF ITS ANY END CAN BE DETERMINED BY USING CLOCK RULE BY NOTING THE DIRECTION OF THE FLOW OF CURRENT. IF THE CURRENT IS ANTICLOCKWISE, THE END IS A NORTH POLE AND IF THE CURRENT IS CLOCKWISE, THE END IS A SOUTH POLE.
